The Soap Boxes is a small UK team printing custom soap boxes, sleeves and wraps for makers who care how a bar looks on the shelf. We work to your bar size, show you a free proof and keep the process plain.
Who is behind The Soap Boxes?
We are a small UK team that makes packaging for soap makers, and that is all we do. Our days go on bar sizes, board choices and print files, not on selling things that have nothing to do with a bench and a curing rack.
Most of the people who write to us make cold process loaves, hot process batches or melt and pour bars, at home or in a small unit. Others run a gift shop, a hotel or a B&B and want guest soaps that look like they belong. Some are planning wedding favours. The questions are always practical. How big is the bar? How many does a batch give? Will the box still look sharp after a weekend at a market?
That is why we ask for your bar size in millimetres and its weight in grams before we talk about anything else.
What do we make for soap makers?
We print custom soap boxes, sleeves, wrap bands, wrapping paper and paper labels. Boxes come in kraft card or white card, with window patches in any shape if you want the bar on show. Card inserts keep gift sets tidy and stop bars rattling in transit.
Print can be full colour, one or two ink colours, a white ink panel on kraft, or inside the lid. Finishes such as matt, gloss, soft-touch, foil, spot varnish and embossing go on your quote. Not sure which format suits your bar? You can compare a box, sleeve and wrap before you decide.

How does an order work with us?
Send us your bar size, the style you have in mind and roughly how many you need. We reply by email within one working day with your quote. Before anything is printed you get a free design proof, and you approve it or ask for changes.
Production takes 4 to 6 working days after proof approval. Your order then travels with free tracked UK mainland delivery in 2 to 3 working days. Quantities are low and quoted per job, so a first small run is fine. Spot a misprint or a crushed corner when the parcel lands? Report it within 10 days and the boxes are reprinted or refunded.

Who runs The Soap Boxes and where are you based?
A small team that works only on soap packaging, so you talk to people who know what a loaf cutter is. Our office is Office 704, 85 Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton, and we serve UK customers only.
Do you only work with large soap brands?
No. Many makers who write to us sell at markets, online or through a few local shops. Quantities are low and quoted per job, so a small first run is welcome.

What do you need from me to start a quote?
Your bar length, width and height in mm, its weight in grams, and the style you want. Tell us too if the bars are still curing, since a sweating bar can mark card and we will suggest how to handle that.
Can I change my artwork after I see the proof?
Yes. The proof costs nothing, and your job stays on hold until you sign it off. If a colour, a line of text or a window shape looks wrong, tell us and we adjust it.
Will my boxes be ready in time for a market date?
Count 4 to 6 working days for production, starting on the day you approve the proof. Add 2 to 3 working days for delivery, then work back from your stall date. A quick reply on the proof saves the most time.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver free, tracked, to UK mainland addresses in 2 to 3 working days. You can read our delivery details for the full picture.
How do I report a damaged or misprinted box?
Email info@thesoapboxes.co.uk with a photo of the fault and the outer carton, and say which bar size the job was made for. Reports sent within 10 days of delivery are reprinted or refunded.
Do I need to print anything specific on my soap packaging?
On a UK bar you will usually see the product name, the weight, the ingredients and who made it, so leave room for all four on the box. Before you lock the artwork, check the current UK cosmetics rules, because they cover soap too.
How much do your boxes cost?
Pricing starts from £0.25 a box, and the exact figure depends on size, board, print and finish. We email your quote within one working day of hearing from you.
