3 bath and body boxes to choose from
Each one is made to the size of your bar and priced by email before anything is printed.
What do bath and body boxes cover?
Bath and body boxes are the packs for everything on your bench that is not a classic rectangular bar. Think round bath bombs, round or square shampoo bars, and tall cartons for pumps and refill bottles.
Each one needs a different inside shape, so we make all three to your measurements rather than from a fixed list. If you sell bombs alongside soap, start with boxes that stop a bomb rolling, then add the rest of the range as your shelf grows.
How do the three boxes compare?
Here is the range side by side. Use it to spot which style matches the product you are packing.
| Box | Made for | Common size | Closure | Good to know |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bath Bomb Boxes | Round or shaped bombs | About 65 mm round | Tuck end, often with an insert | The insert stops a bomb rolling in transit |
| Shampoo Bar Boxes | Round and square solid bars | About 65 mm across for round bars | Tuck end or sleeve | Leave room for the bar to be lifted out easily |
| Soap Dispenser Boxes | Pumps and refill bottles | Measured to your bottle | Tall tuck end | Plan the height around the pump head |
Why does a round product need its own box?
A rectangular carton lets a round bomb slide into one corner and knock about. A fitted box, or a card insert with a round cut-out, holds it still on the shelf and in the post.
Shampoo bars follow the same logic. Round ones sit snug in a pack sized to their diameter, while square ones suit a slimmer carton. Start with boxes for round and square solid bars if that is your product.
Bombs are dry and a little fragile, so a window patch in clear film lets customers see the colour without touching the surface.
Where do pumps and refills fit?
Dispenser cartons are tall and narrow, so the first measurement is height, pump head included. Add the bottle width and depth, and we size the carton around them.
A tall box stands well on a gift shop shelf, and a front window patch shows the label inside. Browse the tall boxes for pumps and refills to see the options.
How do you measure your product?
Accurate numbers save a reprint. Work through these steps at the bench.
- Measure the widest point in millimetres: length, width and height, or the diameter for round items.
- Weigh one finished unit in grams and note it on your enquiry.
- Allow about 2 mm each way, roughly 1 mm a side, so the product slides in without rattling.
- Let anything still curing finish first, because a bar that is still sweating can mark card.
- Send the measurements by email or WhatsApp and we quote the box to fit.

What should you check before ordering?
Products sold in the UK usually carry the product name, weight, ingredients and the maker's details, so leave space on the pack for them. Check the current UK cosmetics rules for anything specific to your range.
- Is the product fully cured and dry, so scent and oils will not bleed into the card?
- Do you want a window patch in any shape to show the colour?
- Will it be posted? Add an insert so nothing shifts.
- Which board suits your look, kraft card or white card?
- Does the artwork leave room for the label details?
What print and finishes can you choose?
Print in full colour, in one or two ink colours, or as a white ink panel on kraft. You can also print inside a lid for a small surprise when it opens.
Finishes on the quote include matt, gloss, soft-touch, foil, spot varnish and embossing. Place your logo with Design Your Soap Box, and we send a free design proof before anything is printed.
How does ordering and delivery work?
Send your sizes through the quote request form and we reply by email within one working day. Minimums are low and set per job. Boxes start from £0.25 a box.
Once you approve the proof, your bombs, bars and bottles wait only 4 to 6 working days for their boxes, and the parcel travels free by tracked UK mainland delivery, arriving 2 to 3 working days later. If a box turns up scuffed or misprinted, tell us within 10 days and we reprint it or refund you.
WhatsApp, a call on +44 7578 382054 or an email to info@thesoapboxes.co.uk will all reach us if you would rather talk sizes through.

Bath and Body Boxes questions
More answers in Help, or call +44 7578 382054 or message us on WhatsApp.
Can I mix bath bombs and shampoo bars in one order?
Yes. Each box is quoted separately by size, so one email can cover several products. Low minimums are set per job.
Will a round bomb rattle in a square box?
It can, because the bomb drifts into a corner and knocks the sides. A box cut to the bomb, or an insert with a round cut-out, keeps it centred.
Do shampoo bar boxes suit round bars?
Yes. We size the box to the diameter, about 65 mm across for many round bars, or to the length and width of a square bar.
Can a dispenser box have a window?
A clear film patch works on a dispenser box, cut to whatever shape you like. It keeps fingers off the pack and shows the label inside.
Can I put a bar and a pump bottle in one gift box?
Yes. Send the measurements of both and we quote one box with a card insert that keeps them apart, so the bottle never presses on the bar.
Do you print on kraft card?
Yes, on kraft card or white card. On kraft, a white ink panel helps a logo stand out.
How do I post bath bombs without cracks?
Use a fitted insert and pack the boxes snugly in the outer carton. Our guide to packing soap for posting covers it step by step.
Can I print something inside the lid?
Yes, print inside a lid is available. Makers use it for a thank-you note, a scent name or care tips for the bomb or bar.
Can I order a small run to test a new bomb size?
Yes. Minimums are low and set per job, so mention the trial in your email and we quote it as its own small run.
How much room should I leave for label details?
Soap sold in the UK usually carries the product name, weight, ingredients and your details, so keep a clear panel for them. Check the current UK cosmetics rules before you finalise the artwork.
