How does the Design Your Soap Box page work?
Start by choosing a photo of a real soap box. Each one is a sample design, so treat it as a stage for your own artwork rather than a finished layout. Pick the style closest to your bar, or see all the soap box styles first if you are undecided.
Next, upload your logo and drag it where you want it. Use the size handle to make it larger or smaller, then press centre to snap it to the middle of the panel. That saves squinting at a screen with a ruler.

What happens after you send your design?
Your placement goes to a real designer, not an automatic process. They check that the logo sits well on the box face, that the artwork is sharp enough to print, and that your inks suit the board, whether kraft card or white card.
Every order is quoted by email within one working day, and the free design proof shows exactly what will be printed. Changes are easy at this stage. Once you approve, production takes 4 to 6 working days, then your parcel travels with free tracked UK mainland delivery in 2 to 3 working days. Here is how our delivery works.
Getting a logo file ready
A clean file gives a crisp print. Vector artwork such as SVG or PDF is ideal because it stays sharp at any size. A large PNG with a transparent background also works. Avoid screenshots and photos of a label, since the edges blur once the logo is enlarged.

- Remove any background box around the logo.
- Keep to one or two ink colours where you can.
- Leave a little space around the edge of the mark.
- Have a white version ready for kraft, plus a dark one for white card.

What does the widget actually do?
It lets you place your logo on a photo of a real soap box. You drag it, size it, centre it and send it. The designer then works from your placement.
Which logo files work best?
Vector files such as SVG or PDF give the sharpest result. A large PNG with a transparent background is the next best choice. If your file is another type, email it to info@thesoapboxes.co.uk and we will say whether it will print well.
What if my logo is low resolution?
The designer will tell you before anything is printed. A small, blurry logo can look soft once it is enlarged on a box face. You can send a better file by email and we will swap it into your proof.
Is the preview exactly what will be printed?
No. The preview shows placement and rough scale on a sample photo. The free design proof that follows is made to your own bar size, so use that to check the final look.
How will my colours look on kraft?
Kraft card is brown, so inks sit on top of that tone and pale colours can look muted. A white ink panel gives lighter artwork a clean base. A dark one or two colour logo usually reads best straight onto the board.
Do I need to know my bar size?
Not to use the widget. Tell us your bar in millimetres, length by width by height, when you send the design. We make the box inside about 2 mm bigger each way than the bar, so it slides in without a squeeze.
What does the designer do with my design?
They tidy the placement, check the artwork resolution, match the layout to your box size and prepare a print-ready proof. They also suggest a different position if a logo crowds a window patch or a fold.
Are my uploads private?
Your logo is used to prepare your proof and your quote. For the full detail, read our privacy notice.
Do I pay for the proof?
The design proof is free. Print only starts after you approve it, so you can look it over at your own pace.
Can I change the design after I see the proof?
Yes. Reply by email or message us on WhatsApp with what you want moved, resized or recoloured. We send a fresh proof before production begins.
